The problem with recording a podcast is that the next day new stuff comes out that you would have loved to talk about. Well that's why we have a blog and twitter :).
The Flaming Flying Lion is up in the Blizzard store and I am going to buy one! They look awesome and don't remind me of vampires (I am looking at you Sparkle Pony). Also MMO-champion has found images of the new mounts in Firelands and the Next PVP tournament ranking drakes. For once I am freakin jealous as hell of the tournament people.
Ohh and totally forgot in the next podcast Episode 13 we are going to have a /roar for a pet contest!!!!! In 4.2 all playable races are going ot be getting sound with their /roar emotes, so send us a sound file of you roaring as you think your toon would and you could win an ingame pet!

Coming up on POW WOW
We will be recording the next POW W.O.W. episode sometime in the evening on Monday or Tuesday (if Joe is jet lagged from his trip). I just want to say a big congrats to all of you out there that were able to get tickets to Blizzcon 2011, and I hate you so bad :).

And with great sorrow I go to the scalpers
This time I queued up 5010. I knew it was a long shot put stayed hopful as the number on people in front of me and the percentage of stock left dwindled until it was 13% left and I was 236th in line. I thought to myself "Holy crap I am going to get these tickets, we are going to go to Blizzcon...this... is....epic!!!!! And sold out. It was like having the wind knocked out of you. Like tripping on the last hurtle (listen to episode 12 of the POW WOW podcast to here more metaphors and similes about this experience). So no tickets and now to scour ebay for the deals. Maybe we will get lucky and maybe we will be watching this on direct TV. We will see.

Blizzcon for the famous and quick of click
So me and a multitude of others around the globe hit refresh a shit ton and got into a queue line for tickets. I was 10220th in line of the queue and had the uber naive thought, ohh cool i might be able to get tickets. Not the case however. After watching the stock percent tick down at a pace that was horribly disproportionate to my position in line the cloud of dread grew larger above my head. Even with my lack of math skills I knew long before the end that I was again not going to get tickets.
Turns out you needed to be within the first 4,000 people in the queue to get tickets. I can only hope that this coming Wednesday at 7:00 I am able to click that button about 5 secs faster and get into that lucky 4k number. We will see. Post your queue number below and let us commiserate.
P.S. Because misery loves company if you got the tickets please just post your queue number and a smiley face and don't brag about it.

Episode 11 and Blizzcon
With the posting of Epsiode 11 coming out today I wanted to take a second and make some amendments to what was discussed in a couple sections of the podcast. Mainly because I have looked up the specific information since the podcast and also as a reminder to those of you who this applies to.
1. Blizzcon Tickets are going on sale May 21st (this Saturday) at 10am pst, and then again on May 25th (this coming up Wednesday at 7pm pst. you can buy 4 in a bunch (down from last year's 6) and they are purchased for $175 each.
2. I forgot to talk about why I (personally) suck in the segment of the show. Since I talk about it as a teaser at the beginning of the show I think it is only fair that you can hear the whole story and maybe some of you out there can gain some wisdom from my fail.
Tanking Throne of Tides as a Druid :)
So far one of the most difficult instances to tank, especially if you don't have CC. The biggest problem that I faced (and this is just talking about the first 2 pulls mind you) was that I was constantly being caught outside of bear form and with no rage. When i move through an instance I like to do it in cat form because it is faster. The way my thoughts work is out of sight out of mind, and that's when the mobs jumped down on top of me and destroyed the group. If i hadn't ignored so much tank training that I received in BC this would not be an issue but I was in Lich mode and just plowed straight into hiding mobs and broke CC on the caster mobs and wipe wipe wipe. I said "i am sorry but out of respect for your time and efforts, i am out" and I had to leave the group.
Have there been times of complete brain fail in your tanking experience. please post below! :)
